Most of you will have found this blog by way of my facebook posts, so I feel like I can assume a lot of this will be a repetition of what you already know. I'll write it anyway, for people who may find me other ways or just don't have the same information.

In the summer of 2017, I was officially diagnosed with and began treatment for ADHD and Bipolar Disorder. The bipolar came as no surprise as three or four other people in my family have it, including my mother. I've been half certain of having Bipolar 2 since I was a senior in high school. The ADHD was genuinely brand new information. In hindsight, it's blindingly obvious, but it shocked me pretty good. I've spent a lot of time researching both of these disorders, and in general I have a lot of feelings about mental health advocacy and treatment.

I'm also polyamorous, bisexual, and genderfluid, and there are many topics and instances surrounding these pieces of my identity that I want to discuss.

I'm currently dating a boy named Benjamin and a person named Jakal, have a complicated but important meta/partner/family relationship with a girl named Charlie, and have a few further intimacies, largely undefined.

I like folk music, pop punk, and old country. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, particularly fantasy and science fiction.
